DANIEL H.K. KUAN

PRACTICE PROFILE

Daniel is experienced in both criminal and civil matters and has dealt with a wide range of cases including land and conveyancing disputes, adverse possession, chinese customary law, defamation, company matters, money laundering and other criminal cases. As an advocate, he has appeared as a junior counsel or as an advocate in his own right up to the Court of Appeal. He has also written advices on or handled matters involving probate, land, adverse possession, shipping, cross-border claims and jurisdictional issues (the latter of which was adopted by the Chinese Courts in the case of (2017) Guangdong 12 Minchu No. 5).

 

Daniel has also advised on listing matters and previously held a non-executive directorship in a listed company. Daniel is also currently an independent non-executive director of a listed company.
