Kam Wah has a Master of Arts degree in International Relations.
He started his career as an Audit Trainee with Lowe Bingham & Matthews, a Chartered Accountants Firm, then joined Jardine Matheson & Company Limited as a Trainee in its Airways Division and eventually joined Swire Group as an executive.
In 1978, he attended the College of Law at Chancery Lane to study for the Solicitors’ Qualifying Examination. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong in August 1984, and became Partner of a law firm in 1987. His main areas of practice were civil litigation, commercial and corporate matters, and project conveyancing.
From May 2003 to June 2016, he was the Deputy Managing Director and General Counsel of a Hong Kong listed company.
